Day 01
On arrival in Zurich, you will walk across to the Flughafen station (located adjacent to the airport) for your train to Interlaken or Grindelwald, the heart of the Bernese Oberland. On arrival in Interlaken or Grindelwald, check into your hotel. Overnight in Interlaken / Grindelwald.
Day 02
Enjoy Excursion up to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. The Jungfrau Railway takes you to the Jungfraujoch – at 3454m/11’333ft the highest railway station in Europe. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Overnight in Interlaken / Grindelwald.
Day 03
Travel through the wonderful Bernese Oberland to the Valais. Travel Either via the Lötschberg base tunnel directly to Visp Or by the RegioExpress Lötschberger using the Lötschberg mountain route, passing the imposing Kander Viaduct, the helical tunnel around the Felsenburg and the descent to Brig as you continue your journey to Zermatt. Located at the foot of the Matterhorn, Zermatt is the perfect Alpine resort for rest and relaxation.
Overnight in Zermatt.
Day 04
Discover a top–class natural paradise as you journey today on an excursion by cog-wheel railway up to the Gornergrat where you will have a superb panoramic view of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and other snow-capped peaks rising to above 4000m/13’000 ft.
Day 05
Today travel by train to Zurich Airport Station for your flight back home.
